Co-working denotes a collaborative work culture followed by self-employed people as well as people working for distinct companies who work in a shared space. It can include working for one’s own venture or working for a company project in a shared workspace. 

In a permanent desk setup, each employee gets to work in a specific seat or cubicle every day. However, in a hot desk setup, that does not happen. So, in the latter setup, employees work at different desks from time to time. In a hot desk setup, employees are required to take away their accessories when they leave. 

Co-working works well for many companies, but it may not be suited for specific types of work. Businesses requiring privacy usually do not opt for co-working setups. A serviced office will be right for companies requiring a quiet place and absolute privacy. 

Rental insurance is not mandatory as such, but for companies requiring Dedicated Desk setups, it is useful. 

It depends on what type of business you want to set up in Dubai and in which area. There are places on Mainland and Free zones. Typically, setting up a business in Dubai Mainland can take a few days post-application. In Dubai Free zone, it can take up to 10 days. However, when you opt for dedicated business centers like ours, setting up a business takes very little time. You have the setup in place and completing the documentation and formalities is all you need to do to get started.
